Effective Date: October 14, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dumplet mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, “Dumplet” or the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Dumplet, you agree to these Terms.
Dumplet is operated by Dumplet LLC (“Dumplet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. What Dumplet Does
Dumplet is a business recordkeeping tool designed to help self-employed individuals and small business owners organize information such as expenses, receipts, income, mileage, tips, and other business records.
Dumplet may also provide reports, summaries, educational information, automated data extraction, categorization suggestions, and other tools intended to make business recordkeeping easier.
Dumplet does not guarantee that information entered, scanned, imported, categorized, calculated, or generated through the Service is complete or accurate. You are responsible for reviewing your records and correcting any errors.
2. Not Tax, Accounting, Legal, or Financial Advice
Dumplet is not a tax preparer, accountant, attorney, financial adviser, or other professional adviser.
Information provided through Dumplet, including educational content, automated suggestions, categorization, summaries, reports, and responses generated by Dumplet’s software or artificial-intelligence features, is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.
Nothing in Dumplet constitutes individualized tax, accounting, legal, investment, or financial advice.
You are responsible for determining whether an expense, deduction, mileage record, tax position, business classification, or other item is appropriate for your particular circumstances.
You should consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
Use of Dumplet does not establish a professional-client relationship between you and Dumplet.
3. Your Account
You may be required to create an account to use some or all Dumplet features.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account.
You may not use another person’s account without permission or allow another person to use your account in violation of these Terms.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Your Business Records
You retain ownership of the receipts, images, business records, financial information, mileage records, notes, documents, and other information you submit to Dumplet.
You grant Dumplet permission to process that information as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Service.
You are responsible for:
- reviewing imported and automatically extracted information for accuracy;
- maintaining records required by applicable tax, accounting, employment, or other laws;
- determining how long your records should be retained;
- maintaining appropriate copies or backups of important information; and
- providing accurate information to tax professionals, government agencies, financial institutions, or other third parties.
Dumplet does not guarantee that any record, report, receipt, mileage log, or export will satisfy the documentation requirements of the IRS or any other tax authority, government agency, auditor, or third party.
5. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence
Certain Dumplet features may use automated systems or artificial intelligence to extract information from receipts or documents, categorize records, answer questions, generate explanations, or otherwise assist you.
Automated systems can make mistakes.
You should review automatically generated information before relying on it, exporting it, or using it for tax, accounting, legal, or financial purposes.
Dumplet does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of automatically generated results.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Some Dumplet features require a paid subscription.
Subscription pricing, billing periods, introductory offers, and trial periods will be displayed before purchase.
When you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment is processed by the applicable app store and is also subject to that store’s terms and conditions.
Unless canceled before the end of the applicable billing period, subscriptions may automatically renew in accordance with the terms presented at the time of purchase and the policies of the applicable app store.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Deleting the Dumplet app or deleting your Dumplet account does not necessarily cancel an active app-store subscription. You are responsible for canceling your subscription through the applicable app store when required.
7. Trials and Promotional Offers
Dumplet may offer free trials, introductory pricing, promotional offers, referral credits, or other incentives.
Eligibility, length, pricing, renewal terms, and other conditions may vary and will be disclosed when the offer is presented.
We may modify or discontinue promotional offers at any time, subject to applicable law and any commitments already made to existing users.
8. Refunds
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are generally subject to the applicable store’s payment and refund policies.
Refund requests for purchases processed through an app store may need to be submitted directly to Apple or Google.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use Dumplet for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to Dumplet, another user’s account, or our systems;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
- reverse engineer, copy, reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit Dumplet except as permitted by law;
- introduce malware or other harmful code;
- use automated means to overload or improperly access the Service; or
- use Dumplet in a way that violates another person’s rights.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service when reasonably necessary to protect users, Dumplet, or third parties.
10. Intellectual Property
Dumplet, including its software, design, branding, graphics, text, features, trademarks, and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to Dumplet and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms give you a limited right to use Dumplet for your own lawful purposes. They do not transfer ownership of Dumplet or its intellectual property to you.
11. Availability and Changes to the Service
We may add, change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of Dumplet.
We do not guarantee that Dumplet will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device or operating system.
We may perform maintenance, release updates, modify integrations, or change features as the Service evolves.
12. Third-Party Services
Dumplet may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including cloud-hosting providers, artificial-intelligence providers, analytics providers, payment platforms, Apple, Google, and other technology providers.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for services operated independently by third parties.
13. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information is described in the Dumplet Privacy Policy available at:
https://dumpletapp.com/privacy
The Privacy Policy forms part of your relationship with Dumplet but is maintained separately so that our data practices can be clearly described and updated.
14. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Dumplet account through the account-deletion features provided by Dumplet.
Information will be handled following our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
Certain limited information may be retained where legally required, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or otherwise permitted by law.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google. Subscription cancellation must be completed through the applicable app store when required.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dumplet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, completely secure, or suitable for every business, tax situation, accounting method, or legal requirement.
You use Dumplet at your own discretion and are responsible for reviewing the records and information you maintain through the Service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dumplet and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
This includes losses resulting from inaccurate records, missed deductions, tax consequences, lost data, business interruption, lost profits, or reliance on automatically generated information.
To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
17. Termination
You may stop using Dumplet at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create security risks, or engage in unlawful activity.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Dumplet evolves or as legal, regulatory, technical, or business requirements change.
When changes are material, we may provide notice through the Service, website, email, or another reasonable method.
The updated Terms will state their effective date.
Your continued use of Dumplet after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
